KITTEN AGREEMENT

This is to certify that the above named kitten is sold as a PET ONLY for the agreed amount of £______________
The kitten is registered with TICA and the registration document will be forwarded to the purchaser once proof of neutering has been received.

The above mentioned kitten is to the best of our knowledge sound, healthy and typical of his/her breed and as such is sold in good faith however no guarantees can be given on his/her future health.

If sold as a show neuter the Vendor can only state that the said Kitten has ‘potential’ as a show cat and the Vendor cannot guarantee any success with showing.

THE PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING COVENANTS

1. Undertake to keep the kitten as a household pet only. The kitten will be fed good quality food, provided with fresh water, kept in clean conditions and provided with veterinary care when needed.

2. Not under any circumstances whatsoever to use the kitten for breeding or allow the kitten to breed with any other cat of the same or a different species, neither will the Purchaser allow any such use to be made of the kitten by any other party.

3. Should the purchaser at any time in the future decide to sell or is unable to keep the above kitten, the breeder must be given first option to have the kitten back. The kitten must not be sold, transferred or gifted to a third party without the knowledge of the breeder. The Kitten must NOT be abandoned or sold, leased or given to a pet shop, research laboratory or similar facility.

4. That the kitten will be neutered by a Veterinary Surgeon/Practitioner, before attaining the age of eight months. He/she will produce to the Vendor a Certificate from the Veterinary Surgeon/Practitioner stating that this has been carried out.

5. In the event of these covenants being breached the Vendor shall have the right to repossess legally the kitten and to be reimbursed by the Purchaser the reasonable cost of such repossession and the keeping of such kitten for a period of up to two months after repossession. Such costs to include a Veterinary examination and fees.

THIS AGREEMENT IS BINDING AND SHALL REMAIN IN FORCE THROUGHOUT THE LIFE OF THE KITTEN
