Unfortunately, one of the downsides of breeding for that "perfect cat", is that our cats need to be retired and sometimes it becomes necessary to rehome these cats. When cats are neutered/spayed they can be pushed down the pecking order or are simply no longer happy in a multi-cat household.
Rehoming retired adults is heart breaking and not a decision we take lightly as we become very attached to them over the course of their breeding careers. When we are asked how we can bear to do such a thing the answer is simple, we love them so much that we want them to go to a loving home where they will be the center of attention as a much loved and spoiled pet without the worry and strain of having kittens or vying to be top cat. Once neutered, these cats make loving, happy pets and can quickly adapt to their new circumstances.
All our cats have been indoor only cats and wherever possible we will try to place our retired cats as indoor only however access to a cat proof garden or cat run would be a bonus. Our retired cats will be neutered/spayed, fully vaccinated and wormed/flea treated so a fee will be asked for to cover these expenses.
We know our cats’ personalities and needs intimately so it is therefore crucial that we find the perfect home so it will be forever.
If you feel that your lifestyle and home would be more suited to an adult cat than a young kitten then please get in touch.
